Mr. Krona joined the firm in June, 2001. He has participated in personal-injury, civil rights, and commercial litigation, including a case involving 16 officers who sued the Department of Public Safety over a rigged promotional examination. Mr. Krona has also participated numerous cases involving employment, non-competition, and ERISA issues, and the sexual abuse of minors and mentally disabled persons.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Krona, worked for several years for a nationally recognized labor and employment firm. He also served for two years as law clerk to the Honorable Robert B. Maloney.
Mr. Krona has also successfully appealed adverse jury verdicts to the Fifth and Tenth Circuits, including Skidmore v. Precision Printing & Packaging, Inc., 188 F.3d 605 (5th Cir. 1999) (adverse sexual harassment jury verdict reversed and rendered) and Watkins v. Roadway Express, 273 F.3d 1094 (5th Cir. 2001) (adverse ADA jury verdict reversed and rendered). Mr. Krona served as a contributing editor to the 1996-2000 Texas Employer publication, which is a comprehensive survey and examination of the current Texas employment laws and likely trends
